Sicilian Easter Egg Cookie
My babysitter, Bina, made me this cookie for Easter. She said that this is a traditional Sicilian Easter cookie. Bina taught me that "Buona Pasqua" means "Happy Easter" in Italian. BUONA PASQUA!

Looks like something Papa would have 12 of and then need to go to the hospital for.
Hi, I’m Coleen. After living in Europe for ten years, I'm settling in the suburbs of Charleston with my husband Trent, our son Currier, our daughter Rya, our dog Paolo, our bearded dragon Rosy and a couple dozen seamonkeys. I'm a stay-at-home mom. I enjoy ice cold beer, the beach, books, fitness, sushi and hot tubbing. I'm addicted to Dunkin Donuts iced coffee. I adore dogs. I'm never without my camera. I love to travel and eat and talk about me. This is my blog. Enjoy.

These are called Combanare. A tradition in our family. If you have the recipe, please keep it in the family.
